Fall in Canada: Enjoy a great Canadian tradition

Summer is over and fall is officially here, but that doesn’t mean that we have to start hibernating just yet. It’s apple season, and with it come many different activities that will get you off the couch and enjoying what this time of year has to offer.

Apple picking. Yes, there is an abundance of apples in the grocery store at this time of year, but there’s something about picking them yourself that make sinking your teeth into one just that much more delicious. With many orchards also having additional activities such as wagon rides and corn mazes, there is enough to fill an entire day with apple fun.

Apple cooking. Whether you eat it cut up in slices or off the core whole, the is no question that a raw, crisp apple is a tasty snack, but there are also so many recipes out there that incorporate the fruit into a full meal. Apple poutine is one savoury example of how you can dine with apples. For a great recipe head to molsoncanadian.ca/cider.

Apple cider. Hard cider is increasing in popularity in North America. With its crisp, refreshing taste it is the perfect partner for a fall day. Molson Canadian Cider is made with Canadian apples, letting you truly enjoy what this land has to offer.

Take a walk. As the leaves change from green to red, there is no question the outdoors is a beautiful place at this time of year. Take a stroll and take advantage of the weather before winter moves in. Don’t forget to pack an apple for a mid-hike snack!
