The only time to wear a shirt with a logo or a slogan would be when you wear your company’s shirt, because you are promoting the company. It’s unprofessional to wear shirts with slogans that promote other companies in your workplace. However, a tiny symbol or logo embroidered on a shirt is fine on business casual days – as long as the logo is not promoting your competitor’s brand.
Dress for the job you want, not for the job you have. Have one or more jackets in business-appropriate colours (black, brown, charcoal or navy) with pants or skirts to mix and match. Blazers are good investments because they never go out of style.
