Training immigrant women for success
On April 7, 1984, Community MicroSkills Development Centre (MicroSkills) started training immigrant women in microfilm and office skills.
Thirty years later, MicroSkills has expanded its locations as well as services to Etobicoke, Brampton, and North York.
MicroSkills now offers women, youth, and newcomers a chance to pursue entrepreneurship, transportation, horticulture, supply chain, technology, accounting, green economy and the culinary arts in addition to its original commitment to providing training in office essentials.
